It would have to be a raptor of some sort. Specifically one that eats poisonous snakes. After all, PHP eats ASP for breakfast.

*joke reference: an asp is a type of poisonous snake.

Bird... Hmmmm. I come across such questions all the time but I don't find it a funny game. On http://www.lunarstorm.se I got the question:
If you were a gardening tool, what would you be?
Are you nuts? was my polite answer.
But OK.... I'll try.
I guess a penguin would be appropriate

An albatross.
Doesn't look elegant by all means when it hits the ground but in the air...

An eagle just at the moment it plunges into the frigid waters to retrieve it's prey.

I'd say more like a swallow:

Relatively small and fast, but doesn't do too well when it runs into windows (in my experience, but I don't do too well either).

I think they use the phrase "air speed velocity." And anyway, this swallow obviously comes from Europe. Just check out its parents' names.
