Blocked Websites

Post by Wolf_22 »

It seems as if my school has blocked web access to anything on HostMonster. It's weird because I can access the HostGator website and others, but not HostMonster... I can access HostMonster through a proxy website, but not directly.

Any ideas as to why this would be and if I might be wrong in assuming that my school's network is blocking it?

Yeah, I guess I'm going to have to. I just hate dealing with my school because the IT people there are complete idiots (or at least, that's been MY experience--I'm sure not all of them are incompetent).

Lol.

Yeah, my school blocked pretty much blocked most non-educational related sites as well.

But I'm in 6th form now, so I no longer have that restriction in effect 8)

When I was in school this one kid typed into the "appeals" text-box / form an angry letter that was construed as a threat and was expelled, the district got the email, phoned down, we had assigned computers so his IP got him lol
