AN EASY ONE - What's a good choice for a PHP forum package?

Ye' old general discussion board. Basically, for everything that isn't covered elsewhere. Come here to shoot the breeze, shoot your mouth off, or whatever suits your fancy.

vBulletin is expensive but by far the best :)
This is coming from an admin of a > 7000 user's forum

Once again, phpBB is the one we used, for many reasons. Also, Invision Boards wasn't out when we launched with phpBB, so it wasn't an option. And phpBB has all the features we need. So the real question for me is do I want to switch boards and have to reimplement the features I enjoy, or just continue to use something that works?

Vicious: I disagree. I have a very active user community that uses the phpBB forum system, and it works very well for our needs. If it sucks ass, that must be a good thing to you then.

i hate the admin setup but it is very easy to make ur own theme. Invision board has more options and i like the feel of it better
