Hi guys,
is it just in Germany that there are only few IT Jobs left?
3 years ago we were promised to all get good overpaid jobs, but if you check the German job-websites nowadays you won't find much. Either it is lousy jobs like Access and VB or the requirements are so high that you don't even know what the shortnames are for they got listed in their application forms. You must be younger then 25 with the experience of a 60 yrs old ... Or you earn less than a secretary.
This really sucks, first there is a big fuzz about how bad the situation is in Germany, that programmers are desperately needed ... and less than 2 years later unemployed programmers wear signs reading "will code for food".
I got an employment but the contract lasts only till the end of the year. I have no idea what will be next year.
Is it similar in other countries? Or is the market down only in Germany?
