Hardware people, I need some advice...

I have a windows and freebsd box. I want to be able to use the same keyboard, mouse, monitor for both through a KVM switch.

Anyone have any good products they'd suggest?

I've seen reviews on some that say the video becomes blurry and sometimes slow. I would like one that doesn't affect the video quality. Any thoughts? thanks!

I use Zonet 's 4-porter that I bought from newegg.com for $52 incl shipping, it comes with 4 cables and is a complete set, very remarkable and good for its price, I have no idea if it works with large monitors/resolutions, it works great for my 17 inch in 1280x1024 and 85Hz.. Very handy thing, only backdraw is the cables going out on all 4 sides, makes a bit of a mess..

Wow, I didn't think of that. I'm building my computer in the next week or two, and only wish to use one keyboard, mouse, and monitor.

A few choices:
Generic KVM Manual (2-port) $13
Generic KVM Manual (4-port) $17

of, a very high quality one from Linksys:
Linksys KVM Key-Switched (2-port) $38

Just keep in mind that the manual ones do not keep the computer "on-line" when swithing away, and that they require cables (!)

I've heard good things about that Linkssys kvm, too bad they dont make a 4 port :)
