I have searched and it sounds like it's available but I cannot find the download either on Zend or Eclipse PDT site:

64 Bit available for everything but Windows 7??? Yet this message thread suggests otherwise:

Where can I find a 64 bit version of Eclipse for Windows 7? Do I have to build from scratch or something?
Cheers,
Alex

May I ask you why would you need one? I understand the need of 64bit versions for resource-intensive applications like 3dMax or Autocad - but simple text editor?PCSpectra wrote:Where can I find a 64 bit version of Eclipse for Windows 7?

Re: Eclipse IDE 64 bit for Windows???
Because everything runs visibly faster in 64bit versions...toirtoiseSVN I recently switched to 64 bit and it runs much smoother...Eclipse is massive and really slow even on a brand new high performance system. All the plugins, validations, etc...just slows everything to crawl sometimes it's really annoying.
I figure if there was a 64 bit edition it would probalby boost performance and I wouldn't get so frustarted waiting for long operations..
Cheers,
Alex
