Buying an SSL cert

Post by JakeJ »

It's been years since I bought an SSL cert. Who do you guys recommend? Thawte and Verisign are there, but are there others that are cheaper AND reliable. I know nothing about the other companies.

Thanks!

There are a number of companies that resell Geotrust certs. And you can often get them from your hosting provider.

Definitely go through your web host. They'll usually have a few options ranging from cheap to expensive, and somewhere in the middle will be their recommended provider.
