Slovakia...isn't that the team played first?

Canada Russia win...7-3 wasn't the most exicting game after the second but it was a nice victory...after 50 years of losing to Russia. I see a repeat of Salt lake City coming :)

Canada US finals...Canada win 6-3 :)

Cheers,
Alex

You know ... the US is just a scrappy little country with a young hockey team that wasn't even supposed to get a medal. ;)

Great job Canada!

Good thing it's not football, then it would actually mean something...

Every country has their sport of choice...some countries have several. In Canada it's safe to say Hockey is the only religion worth following. Sure there are sports, like football and baseball, baskette ball, etc. Hockey is a way of life. :)

We live in the shadow of the United States every day, so it's nice to in the spot light once in a while, every 4 or 8 years or so anyways. :P

Yes, that win meant a lot more to Canadians than it would have to the US. Especially because the Games were at home for you. And your guys really fought for the Gold. It was one of the greatest finals in Olympics history.

If the US had won, we would have just been more obnoxious than we already are for the next four years. :)

But we will see you in Sochi, Russia in four years ... oh yes ... we will see you in four years ... ;)
