So what is your site's Google PageRank?

Post by nickc »

Hi everyone. I recently discovered the Google Toolbar and the PageRank system. My site ranks 3/10 which isn't bad considering I haven't been optimizing for it. What's yours? Anyone got 10/10?

0/10 ;\ Once Google does their refresh (recrawl's the internet), I should a) have a higher rank, b) get more hits.

I use to have 6/10 when my online game was popular....it's most likely dropped since then....;)

Wow, I'm scoring 5-6's for my various apps and their associated developer pages. These are things with minimal user bases and I thought very limited linkages without any attempts to entice/cater to search engines. Cool.

I never really bothered with google page rank, but goodness, just checked: my pride-and-joy website scores a whopping 6, others are at 3.
Wow.

if you're listed in the google directory then you have a page rank, but it's on a scale of 40 instead of 10. the rank image is made up of two gifs, a green one and a whitish one... get the width of the green one to determine your rank out of 40. other than that, i don't know of a way... sucks for me too - i use linux and the googlebar for mozilla is unofficial and doesn't have the page rank.

And you can't uninstall the googlebar for Firebird very easily yet. At least not in Firebird... Found that out the hard way. Bug lists - good things to check.

Thanks for the info on how to check it, will!
