Post by pootergeist »

For the last week or so I have been getting

Fatal Error: something about database

errors whenever I try visiting during the morning (gmt). Anyone else getting them or just me?

Yeah, had the same thing. But me being the patient me thinking: ooooha. Everything will be alright. Guess that's why my tea is always a tad too strong as well.

As it seemed to only happen during the morning I thought (presuming he's American) that he was localhosting the database on a box in his bedroom. Then every night at bedtime he was pulling the switch so as not to be woken by the fan spinning. Each morning he then flicks the 'on' switch and - wahey - the forum is back with a database in time for my afternoon.

On an aside: the error message isn't very entertaining, can we have a different one? ;)

Nope, that has nothing to do with me. However, it is curious that it happens at the same time (or supposedly).

Maybe it's time I investigate more whats going on in phpBB.
