good e-learning lesson service for PHP?

Post by takotan12345 »

Hello, I have been learning PHP and cakePHP by myself now, but don't know anyone who I can ask about programing.
So I am looking for some online one on one lesson for people who want to learn PHP programing.

Does anybody know some good and reasonable one? It would be great if they can teach php with cakephp because
I use cake now.

Thanks!

If you don't know PHP, I wouldn't start with Cake. Frameworks can be difficult enough to learn even if you are an experienced PHP programmer (especially Cake). Learn PHP first. I don't know of any "service" you can use, but there are tons of "learn PHP series" of blog posts out there. I began one a while back, but only wrote the first of the series. Go ahead and read it, and if you like it, let me know and I'll write a follow-up:

Also, if you have questions, ask them here. You don't need a personal tutor when you have PHPDN! :)
