cakePHP, symfony or Zend. I can't choose!

Originally I was just going to choose between cakePHP and Zend but then I recently installed NetBeans and it is compatible with Symfony.

Based on my research, cake is a bit lighter than Zend and a bit easier, but Zend is a bit more professionally regarded. Symfony seems to fall in the middle somewhere.

I've haven't got any experience in any frameworks, PHP or otherwise, so it would be better if it's easier to pick up.

Let me know your thoughts!

In my opinion you can't go wrong with either one. Go with the one most suited to your style (read the source a little) and fits your tools the best.

After you get familiar enough with one of those frameworks it should be fairly easy to adapt to the others, as they all similar methodologies at the core. If I had to choose for this reason, I'd go for Zend - since it is the most customizable and gives you the most control over whats happening. Then again, that what makes it more difficult to get started with, probably.
