Quite frankly I don't really see why anyone would feel shocked by that. People who use yahoo forums (warning: blatant generalization ahead) represent average americans and therefore get shifted into the "exaggerated stereotype of ignorant humanity" category (aka "pinks").

Exactly. Fits the description of most people I've had the misforture of meeting.

On a lighter note, I just find it amusing that people try to insult other people by saying "jews killed jesus!" Ummm... Hang on a minute, didn't christianity come from judaism? According the Merriam-Webster dictionary it would even qualify as a sub-cult of judaism.

God can control everything in the world: the weather, conclusions, etc, but for some reason, he can't seem to control his wallet.

LOL Phice ;)

Fishbone has a great line in one of their songs:

"To whom, whom do you pray? Do dollars wash your sins away? Does God love cold hard cash?"

I borrowed that little sniplet from George Carlin. He's the best stand up comedian, imo. :D

I have to say, I like Bill Hicks and Eddie Izzard a bit more as far as religion/politics/capitalism commentary. Though Bill won't really give George Carlin much of a fight nowadays...
