PHP and Open Source Technologies

Hi All,
So far I have got good knowledge and understanding of PHP. I am working on enhancing my knowledge of PHP and acquire advanced skills. I have been into Administration and Support Type of Profile at work so far. But now I want to go in for a PHP Developer's / Programmer's Profile as I think that I am more comfortable in scripting and developing logic.
But there are some problems which I am facing. I do get calls for interviews but they ask questions on Open Source Technologies such as WordPress, Zoomla, Drupal, CakePHP, etc. I am not familiar with anyone of them. I just know PHP at an intermediate level. These days I am also learning MySQL on my own. As I am already good at SQL and RDBMS related concepts because I gave papers of SQL Server and Oracle as part of my M.Sc. IT course, so I am not finding MySQL difficult. In fact, I am loving it!
Presently I am working for HCL but as I have stated above, I am more interested in development rather than in administration.
So, friends and Gurus out here, advise me as to how I can succeed in getting a job in PHP. Which one should I begin with: Drupal, Zoomla, or WordPress? Or should I join a training session on them?
Thanks!
