SEO attracts marketers and that means money, selling, advertising, spamming, etc.

This is primarily a highly technical focused crowd, joining another forum that focuses on marketing works better for every one involved.

That is good to know. There are technical communities and there are developer communities. With the name devnetwork, I thought it would be general developers. And I think you're right about the spam that would be attracted too.
