Hi,
Files in "C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files" are not getting deleted. I am using Windows XP SP2 and have IE 8 and Google Chrome on it. Though now I'm I using only Google Chrome as it doesn't crash or close while surfing on the Internet.
Only some files are not getting deleted while others are getting deleted. They are text files beginning with "cookie: administrator@xe" for example. Some are images and .js files, while the rest our google search files beginning with "search?hl=en" etc.
Please note that I have logged-in on the system as administrator and so have full permissions and rights of performing any tasks on the system. In fact, this is the only account I've got on in Windows XP on my PC.
When I select the files & delete them, I'm being prompted to delete them or not. But when I choose "Yes", nothing happens. No error message is flagged. Some have expiry date in future, in past, and some have none. There are such 30 objects in the folder.
Kindly help me, please.
