HTML Forum

Post by brewmiser »

I have a Aunt that is trying to get into webpage design. I was telling her about this forum and she was interested in joining a forum for people who are new to HTML. Does anyone know of a good forum that I could tell her about that deals mostly with HTML and/or web design?

http://www.lissaexplains.com has a good forum for that sort of thing.

The site may be a little childish for adults but the info really helps for newbies.

Google can help you find more.

Wow, lot's of bright colors on that site.

I was surfing around last night and found this site on google, http://www.htmlhelpforums.com/forum/portal.php. The site looks alot like this site. I was wondering if it was done by the same folks.

Why not post in the "Client Side" section of this forum?

I didn't think about that, good point. I am guessing that I will have to repost it, or can like the admin move it for me?

I'd reccommend http://www.codingforums.com for clientside stuff, especially javascript. Note though, quite a few of the members are sticklers for valid markup and css usage (worth learning though). They are suffice to say a lot more advanced than the litluns at lissaexplains and will undoubtedly teach better use of markup languages.

Pootergist, I like that site, it looks real clean.

Phice, you can move this hole thread if you want to. It would be better in the "client side" section.

Thanks.
