Books or eBooks, or even websites.

Post by Enuf »

Hey, i'm new here and i was wandering does anyone know any good books or eBooks to teach me PHP? I prefer books, but i'll go for anything. Im not totally new to coding i know HTML and some CSS.

I would also like some websites to look at as well. So far ive been reading source code which is teaching me quite a lot. :)

(Also i posted this in the introduction section, but i looked at the last 3 pages of it, and it's really just new people posting in there. With one person saying welcome)

You might want to take a look at PacktPub, you can buy paper or PDF editions, or subscribe to their online library. They cover developing/designing for specific apps and more general topics, such as PHP programming, too.

Reading source code is that best, you can learn a lot about architecture and possible solutions to problems. Check out PlanetPHP for a collection of blogs on the subject
