In a way, yes. From what I remember they just aggregate free video feeds.

In the USA its legal to pirate satellite TV. There was a court ruling that says if you can pull it out of thin air then you can keep it.

That seems an incredible ruling.

By the same token, is it then legal to pirate music broadcast via radio?

I'm not a lawyer and the definition of "pirate" is subjective. You could probably watch the program in your own house. Maybe even run coaxial cables to your neighbor's house and let him watch for free (my landlord does this now, we get a Direct TV broadcasting, but arranged to mimic the channel numbers of the local cable company, so its like we have free cable but sometimes the Direct TV CEO comes on and thanks me for being a customer, its pretty lulz).

I think the court ruling basically says the radio station can't sue you for listening to their station. Even if they tried to encrypt their signal and failed. However I'm sure some of the more advanced radios like XM work on a challenge/authentication basis, so it would be tampering with a computer system (a crime here). I think the only way you'd be bound by their terms of service is if you were a paying customer though.

In fact the ruling I am thinking of may have only applied to wifi, and other unencrypted signals. I am not a lawyer so assume everything I am saying is bad advice.
