I was browsing through programmers jobs at the Job Centre plus in the UK when I came across this one. They wanted you to master 6 different languages and were to pay 5.95 measly pounds an hour, the same you would get working at a fast food restaurant. But that is not all, have a look at the spelling of the languages. They didnt have a clue what they were asking for. It took me a minute to sort the meaning out.
This Vacancy is being advertised on behalf of ******* ** who is operating as an employment business. Previous experience is preferred. Must have knowledge of ESP, MYSQN, JAVA, Wrod press, Coola, SMS. SO, ESP ACTUALLY MEANT ASP
MYSQN MEANT MYSQL
JAVA THEY MEANT JAVASCRIPT BUT OBVIOUSLY IT DOESNT MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE TO THEM IT AMOUNTS TO THE SAME THING
WROD PRESS MEANS WORDPRESS

Re: hilarious job ad for a programmer
I've never seen a good tech job advertised at a UK Job Centre.
Every time I go into one I feel my soul die a bit.
I was also once told off by security for taking a phone call from a recruitment agent while waiting for my appointment. Apparently phone calls aren't allowed there, even ones about jobs.
