Don't worry about adding skillsets, so much as you are becoming a recognized leader in what ever technology you choose to persue, whether it be CakePHP or Zend, etc.

Be very active and helpful in the community forums, write quality articles and contribute to the project(s). The key here is finding the most marketable project not skill sets. The problem is, each project is highly marketable in their own little way. CakePHP VS CodeIgnitor VS Zend VS Drupal VS Joomla VS Magento and so on. The nice thing about selection is it gives you choice to zone in on one which interests you not pigeon hole you into doing things you don't want.

Cheers,
Alex
