Pranks
Anyone want to share some neat pranks to play on ppl?
The best one I have heard of so far is to take a screenshot of a persons desktop, make that screenshot the desktop background, hide all desktop icons and then when the user trys to click on the icon (that doesn't exist) nothing happens.
w00t!!

I once had a LAN party wit a bunch of friends. We are of course close friends, so if somone chared c:\ in the LAN it wasn't a problem.
I changed the win.ini and background line of one of my pals to a rather obscene image. The fun part was that it doesn't change until the next reboot, and at that time he was at home about to view some home-economic doc's with his mom and girlfriend... Priceless.
More innocent, change the keys on the keyboard is something we did in school.

If you post his picture on each board on the net (or datingservices) and then showing him it... I'd consider it a computer related prank. ;)qads wrote:hmmm
how about shaveing ur room mate' s head while s/he sleeps? does that count as a prank? lol
not exectly a computer prank i guess..but you can alway blame it on the mouse..."HE MADE ME DO IT" :P
I did that to a pal when he passed out once. But only the left eyebrows. He screamed like a girl when he saw his face in the mirror. At the time I was putting on my sneakers for obvious reasons...
1) I used an infinite loop in Javascript and opened tons of windows and crashed a few of my friends' computers.
2) I used a PHP loop ($loop<10000) to spam someone I hate
.
3) I switched the put the left computer's mouse and keyboard to the computer on the right. So if you click or move the mouse on the right, you are actually doing it to the computer on the left. I did this to all my school computers =D.
Don't try this at home kids....................go to a neighbour's

Offer a link "Create an earthquake".
You use the javascript window positioning x- and y-coordinates to make it look like a the browser-window is really shaking (like a camera during an earthquake).
Once it's over, you output a message: "Sorry if this script accidentially damaged your monitor."
