Mozilla Firebird 1.4
Hey, I just downloaded Mozilla Firebird yesterday and find it quite good acutally. It highlights the syntax when I view the source, now that's neat.
Anyhow, I've come to dump Outlook Express, and use Mozilla's mail client. Anyhow, 1 problem is that I would have to keep that extra window open to receive an instant notification if I have received a new e-mail.
Is there anyway to auto-check my mail box every, say 10 minutes without having to have the mail window open?
Thanks,
-Nay

Okay, I've got a temperory solution so far though. I downloaded:
http://download.com.com/3000-2340-10104 ... ag=lst-0-1
It's a minizer thing that...........well, minimizes my applications to the system tray so it keeps it out of my way. I've got my Mozilla mail manager open all the time and configured it to check my mail box every 5 minutes. Well, not the best of solutions but it works

I must leave here my opinion about this subject. Mozilla Firebird is the browser of dreams.
Cheers,
Scorphus.
- It is fast! (great cache implementation)
- It is highly faithful to W3C Recommendations, XHTML, CSS *and* JavaScript
- The pop-up blocking and tab-browsing are fascinating
- The JavaScript Console helps coding a lot
- You can backup all your 'favorites' just saving only one file (bookmarks.htm) instead of an entire folder/subfolder/zillion-files mess
- There are many other benefits from using Mozilla...
Cheers,
Scorphus.

I forgot to mention: Why You Should Switch to the Mozilla Firebird browser.
Have a nice day,
