PHP! Where are you?!

Post by Hermit TL »

It seems like the more I program with PHP the less PHP I type.
HTML, CSS, MySQL, with a dash of PHP to hold it all together.

... I remember when I only needed to know one language to write a program. Now I'm familiar 10+
(It annoys me so much that I have to know 4-6 languages just to get started on something. )

Hats off to all you other long time programmers who toughed it out, and learn the new languages to keep up with the times. :drunk:

You could probably get away with only php / css / html if you worked with other programmers who knew those languages but i'm guessing that if you are like me (and probably many programmers / developers using the forum) it's a good thing to know as much as possible and the thirst for knowledge won't let you be satisfied with knowing just one language ;)

True. I guess I just wish I could learn faster.
