Fantasy Baseball resource

As if I don't have enough to do, I've offered to put together a more comprehensive website for the Fantasy Baseball League myself and my friends run.
We actually have our own league each year using the Yahoo! Fantasy Leagues pages, but for the last few years we've drafted via e-mail (including banter), while I've logged picks in an SQL database so that everyone can see who has been drafted, what they team looks like, etc. It is pretty crude, but it serves a purpose.
For next season I'm going to improve it a bit. Features I've thought of adding are:
- Player cards, showing a few details of each player, including where they were picked last year.
- Cap/avatars, so each player can link in with their favourite team (similar to the flags used at predictionfootball.com).
- Links, so that people can find useful resources easily (especially when the likes of CNNSI and ESPN change their links every so often).
- Commissioner annoucements (date the draft starts, free agent pool opens, etc.).
- Player "wish lists" for each team, so that a Commissioner can view who they'd like to pick if a player is away.
Anyone done anything like this in the past? Or have any features they think would be useful?
