Windows Hosting
Has anyone had a good experience with a host that provides Windows server (yeah, I know, anathema). Specifically I am looking for a VPS that has .NET 4.0 or 4.5 and MSSQL Server. If you have a preferences between Windows 2008 and 2012, I'd be interested in hearing about them. As well as anything else that is important when buying Windows hosting.

I only found out recently you can't use an .htaccess file on a windows server; apparently you have to use a web.config file for url redirects / rewritesChristopher wrote:As well as anything else that is important when buying Windows hosting.

I used to use crystaltech.com when they were an independent company, but they've been assimilated by the borg called newtek
The do offer a very extensive windows hosting infrastructure and great support. I started with them back around 2000 or so.
