NET Framework Initialization Error

Post by Chloe44 »

Hi all!

I am hoping that somebody on here can help me because I have no idea what's happened to my notebook. As soon as I turn it on, the same message comes up "TimeMonitor.exe - NET Framework Initialization Error: To run this application, you first must install one of the following versions of the NET Framework:
v4.0.30319" Does anyone know what that means? I've had this notebook for more than 2 years now, and this has only come up recently. It also keeps doing updates for NET 4. and they fail constantly so whenever I turn it off it's doing the same 12 updates over and over.

Any help would be appreciated! :)

I search your question on Microsoft forum and which I know from there which is the error is referring to the Microsoft .NET runtime version 4.0 which is required to use WMDC so you have to update Windows. Furthermore, I am giving you a link where you will know better about your problem. Link is below:
