Laptop to Desktop file transfer

I've had a company laptop at home this week, as part of my on-call duties. Being lazy I've used it to do a few letters and other bits, whilst relaxing in front of the TV (watching the World Series until 3am, and the like).
Now the thing is that this laptop doesn't have a floppy drive, so I've got a few options for getting the files off.
1) Dialling into work and moving the files onto a personal drive (which I'd prefer not to do).
2) Hooking up to the web and saving them to my Yahoo! Briefcase or sending them back to myself via web e-mail (which I'd also prefer to avoid).
3) Taking advantage of my two home phone lines, and transferring the data that way.
The thing is, can I do that? If so, how?
