Headphones, which are best for sound and the bass?

Hi all

Am looking for a new set of headphones that go around the ears.
I've looked at Seinn MM-500X. Apparently they are very very good sound, very comfy, and great wireless, but their bass is a bit lacking.
A certain brand from a fruity company are overly bassy, and "muddy" apparently. But maybe that's a good thing.

And then there is the Bos* version, QC15 that are too expensive for me, or the AE2w which are extremely comfy, and to me they had pretty good bass. But reading about their bluetooth, the design of it is a bit crap.

So I'd be interested on anyone's views. Pricing around £150-£200 please. Pref wireless, but not essential at all.

Thanks.

Not sure what you have available in the UK...

Sennheiser and Bose are too pricey for me. I've literally tried a dozen or so from Sony, Skullcandy, some other flashy brand I forget, and they all had too little or too much bass. Heard bad things about Beats.
I eventually found a pair by Auvio, a brand owned by RadioShack (an electronics store chain), and they're the best I've ever owned. About $70 back in 2011 when I got mine. Wired, which I prefer because they don't need batteries or constant recharging, but with some quick searching it looks like they have wireless versions too.

Just seen them on amazon, but probably a cheap level of them, as only £30 and frequency range is rubbish.
V-Moda are apparently incredible. LP2 Cross Fades and LP Crossfades. Apparently they blow Beats out of the water, as they are both very bassy, but also amazing sound quality; something Beats' reviewers are not so complimentary about!

I'm looking at these headphones: V-Moda LP2 and M-100. I listen to so many different genres of music, from bassy stuff, to oldies simpler stuff, 50s music, Ronettes, up to 80s. So all sorts. I've been in stores here in the UK and listened to headphones, and either they are 'tinny' lacking any kind of bass, or Beats that are apparently just all about the bass and not about the music.

I've read a lot about V-Moda's. From their sound quality to the military constructions of them.

Question is, are the M-100s really THAT much better than the LP2? I don't care about the secondary cable socket, nor the different cables, as long as there is the ability to change volume with them. The folding if them is useful, tho not essential to me.

I Want headphones that have bass, but control it far better, and allow the other tones to come thru, unless Beats (apparently).
These have all the best ratings. So from a very personal point of view, which are better value, nicer to listen with etc?
