Beats Studio 2.0 - Can they be used if Noise Cancel Bat Dead

Post by simonmlewis »

Hi.

This is about the WIRED version.

I have been looking at these headphones. Most reviews are about sound quality. I'm not really asking about that here. This is about the Noise Cancellation.

They work from a charge. But what if you are using them in a quiet location. At home. Garden. In an office.
What if the battery dies or you just haven't charged it up.

If the Noise Cancelling battery is flat.... does it make the headphones redundant?
Is seems a little bizarre to make a set of headphones that work ONLY with that function enabled. But even more bizarre to make headphones that don't let you use them at all if that function's battery is flat. Just let them work without the Noise Cancelling.

Just interested in what really happens.
Love PHP. Love CSS. Love learning new tricks too.
All the best from the United Kingdom.
