Can LED Strips USBs be plugged into mains USB plug?

I'm looking at getting some LED strip lights in the kitchen. They need to be the separate length as I have to separate them out, because of a 'hob' between the cupboards.

The plan was to run it from the mains, down a 2m extension to the first strip. Then connect that to two more strips. Then connect the final one those to s 4m extension, feed that up and over the cupboards into the final cupboard, where it will connect to the final strip.

These are usually connected to the USB on a TV, but I need it to plug into the mains.

With Tablets and Phones now, you can plug your USB lead into a USB Mains Plug and charge it. Does the same apply with the USBs of these LED leads??

This is in the UK.

Double-check that the plug puts out the same voltage and amps that the strip lights take as input, but very likely yes you can do that.

Thanks. It says 5V, and my old Blackberry plug is a 5V one. So looks like I have a solution. So cheap as well.
