PPS: Just as an example - customer is using pagers(!) and walkie-talkies for first aid teams, wants to drop them and start using SMS, mobile phones and mobile apps.
- customer has a process with a predefined workflow and using some tools to achieve it;
- customer wants to integrate our company services into their workflow, using our company tools and entirely dropping their tools usage;
- customer tries to mimic the old workflow strictly, instead of getting advantages of the new tools;
- customer refuses to change the workflow and it doesn't conforms with the new tools feature set;
- eventually we are forced to implement changes in a very hakish way, just to satisfy the requirements ...
