Yeah, that's the Apple Tax. Adapters for everything. My MBP does have one HDMI out, but it's a slightly older model. My work laptop only has USBC, so adapters are definitely required. Monoprice generally has them at reasonable prices.

If you are familiar with Xcode, I have gone through this lesson, but by the end, my three areas for label, text field and button are right up against the right and left edges of the storyboard. so in the simulator, there is no margin.
I went thru everything, made it fit, 20 and 0 - 0 in the constraints. I can't see how to 'add margin' (like you might in CSS).
