MS-DOS 5.0

Post by m3mn0n »

I need a copy of MS-DOS 5.0 for this old laptop of mine that runs windows 3.1

I've heard in many places that it is now public domain. Anyone know where you could download it?

Thx infolock.

Linux won't load on this laptop, it only has 16 mb of ram.

I know there is a version of linux that could run on such a piece of junk but I had a very hard time finding which one does. :(

post it,

right now it says i have ms-dos 7.0 installed =\

i'm betting it was because i used a windows 98 bootdisk to install win3.1...

ive never really downgraded or uninstalled a DOS before so another problem i have is getting documentation about that...*sigh*

Sami, have you tried eDonkey search? I found several msdos distributions there (only v6.22).
