Search Engines

Post by Paddy »

Hmmm...not sure where to put this so here will do. If anyone needs to move it please feel free...

Time for me to consult the gurus. :)

What is the easiest way to submit a web site to multiple search engines? If possible what is the easiest FREE way. And does anyone have any links to documentation as to how this all works?

Thanks in advance guys.

Go to each one and submit it. But the best thing you can do I think is use the meta tags for content and put lots of keywords.

Surely there must be a way to do a chunk of them at once.

Most search engines "spider" the net for new sites regularly on their own. You can submit to them but they'll usually find your site on their own long before they get to you on the list of submitted sites.

Ironicly enough, there is a website for this...

Catchy url right? Anyway, I think you can find most of your answers there (?)

If it is not the case, setup your meta tags like I said
