Amazon has only just started making a profit i think.

I only gave Amazon as an example of an internet based company, not a rich one :)

And I'm pretty sure it's Yahoo!, Inc.

IPO = initial public offering...
basically google is a privately held company right now and when they "IPO" they will be listed on the nasdaq as a public company. It basically means millions of dollars will pour in from investors.

I say that will be the END of google as we know it. They will have to increase profits every quarter or the stock will fall so we'll see more advertising and gimics, kinda like yahoo became.

Nah, you're all wrong. The answer is going to be one of the big media companies - Viacom or somesuch.

The vast majority for-profit porn on the net is operated by wholly-owned subsidiaries of the U.S. media giants. As they are bigger than Amazon, Ebay, Yahoo, et. al., they're probably the biggest out their.

By the way, next time they get self rightous and take Howard Stern off the air, remember that they and the politicians they have in their pockets are not-so-secretly making money hand over fist by selling online porn.

Not that I dislike naked women.
