Now it's official: Microsoft is behind the syndicate financing SCO - with a generous US$50 Million:

Now, where is the surprise? Yet another FUD (Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt) maneuver.

They just don't want SCO to come after them, since I believe SCO claims it owns code within Windows and Mac too.

I find this very funny because just weeks ago SCO.com and Microsoft.com where together targets of MyDoom...heh

Really? Haven't heard about that - where did you read it?
SCO surely can claim extensive expertise in making powerful enemies.

I heard the guys from TSS talking about it on the air. And I trust them to be right because they most likely always are. heh

It was a while back so my memory might be a bit fuzzy about this..

Another story like this also comes to mind...anyone else remember when Microsoft endorsed Apple and ported a lot of it's software for Mac users like 7 or so years ago? Wasn't there some legal issues just before that too? heh
