Hey guys and gals. Anyone here with Abobe illustrator willing to help me out with something?

I am doing some literature for a client and they have given me a CAD file to put in the literuture. (Line drawings I guess). I can not import the cad file to inDesign and don't have the autocad program.

I think it can be converted in illustrator maybe to a eps file or something. I have a viewer that I can save it as a screen shot (jpg), but looks like smurf when I put it in inDesign.

Anyone out there willing to help me? I just need it converted to a good size and acceptable file. I have never used illustrator so not familiar with it.

Thanks!!!
Tim

We have to take CAD drawing from a military company and but into company literature.

What format are the CAD drawings in? DXF? CAb you get them in DXF format?

If so, i can convert them for you.

Thanks

Ouch ... $150 ... only need 2 files done ...

I might have to contact the company that sent it to me and have them send me a different file or something ... but it's like going through one person, to another, to another, to the guy that did it ... so on and so on ...

Thanks,
Tim
