I need to access a FTP site at ftp.dur.ac.uk so that I can access my university coursework files from home. This is the site's intended use and it IS supposed to be accessed from outside the university. It works on most machines but for some reason, when I try it from my machine I get the error message:
Windows cannot access this folder. Make sure you typed the file name correctly and that you have permission to access this folder.
Details: The FTP session was terminated.
So far I've tried changing the DNS addresses to the one recommended by the university. I wondered if disconnecting for a few mins and then reconnecting might renew my IP and this might help i some way?
