European Air War.
Edge of the seat stuff trying to keep track of a 3D dogfight, helping your team mates online, and manoeuvering to squeeze every last drop out of your plane.
Some quite deep tactics required - like arial chess. Forget the shoot 'em ups: flying is where it's at.
Anyone here ever been shot down by the goat squad?

Not really into online games, but did find an online edition of Pacman the other day which is very addictive.
Favourite offline game is probably Madden 2004.
Favourite game from nowhere near a PC is probably the 1990 F.A. Cup Semi-Final between Crystal Palace and Liverpool.

always brings a fuzzy warm feeling to my heart when i remember my Amiga days; still got a working Amiga500 with a 512kb memory expansion and 500+ games (down from 1000+ that friends borrowed and never returned).
Remember Nitro? Very addictive car game where 3 players can play (two on joysticks and one on keyboard)
Hiemdall? The graphics were breathtaking, still comparable to many games of today.
Nuclear War? addictive!
Populous series, i first played Sim City and Civilisation on my Amiga too.
Someone mentioned Elite on the Acorn. My first was actually an Acorn Series B 32k . Elite kept me hooked for days and days. Repton? Strikers Run? ahhh the days.
