It's a good day here too - pity I once more cannot enjoy it much as all the blinds have to be down :x , although since my boss is on holiday we don't have to lower his and I've got a sort of view of the QE2 bridge.

This is where I get flamed but at least in England you can get a decent ale. Here in Germany it is all lager :cry:

Enjoy yourself

Huh? Where in Germany are you living that you can't get a decent beer? All Lager? No way, man - Germany has by far the greatest varieties of beers out there. And, and this is of course my own personal opinion (as anything else I say), the best.

Try Altbier, Hefeweisse, Weizenbier, Koelsch etc. etc. And those are really just the categories, each with hundreds of different brands...

But the sun is out here in south England as well. Aaaaaah, nice. :)

Being a real ale person I miss brands like Directors, Spitfire or Old Speckled Hen. Altbier and Koelsch are drinkable but to me they still taste very much like lager. This is of course my own personal opinion.

<mustn't post this>

I've you put German beer out in the sun for two hours, you'll have a nice British Ale :)

(ok, I've just donned my asbestos suit...just so you know I am prepared and ready for heavy flaming (within reason, that is...my reason :twisted: )

You young people sure are busy ;)

I'll be omw to Berlin this weekend - just a brief trip: leave on Saturday morning, come back late Sunday... Friends birthday bash and wotnot

If the sun won't shine, I'll go and get drunk (err...wait, I'll probably be anyway... gah, difficult one ;))
