Anyone Else Play MUDs?

Post by Zorth »

Anyone ever play a MUD before? They rock if you haven't tried them. Found this good one based on the Wheel of Time: http://kinslayer.mine.nu

If you haven't, you can get a good client to log on to it from: http://www.zuggsoft.com or http://ew.xidus.net/download/gmud.html. Telnet sucks! :)

Isn't this how they played games before Atari? heh

Personally, I've explored the "MUD world" a bit but, I prefer a more modern method of entertainment.

Nah, you need to try one without stupid color. It's actually pretty popular. I've tried different type of video games, and MUDs have been by far my favorite. Not sure why, but text just seems like it can do something video can't.

I agree with you on that. I love playing multiplayer text-based strategy games. But I prefer the web browser, clan war, huge community type similar to TEQ.
