Zend IDE 3.5

Post by jason »

Oh...so cool. Oh, just so cool. I mean, it's beautiful. It's just so beautiful, and so cool.

1. So much faster. I guess they switched over to the same engine that Eclipse uses, so it's so much faster now.

2. Configuration revamp. Oh damn, all the new configuration options are just so cool! Code highlighting got a big push, and it's completely revamped (and so much cooler now!).

3. Templates. Templates are something I have yet to play around with much, but for what it's worth, they look really cool. Basically, you can take small snippets of code, and create a template. That way, rather than typing it out, you just have a template for it.

4. Did I mention their was a speed increase!?

5. The interface got revamped (and also feels snappier, have I mentioned that?), and it's really slick.

Anyways, here's some screenshots:

Well, this is a beta version. 3.5 is free depending on what you originally purchased. For example, I have a year's worth of free upgrades.
