Help for a noob

Hi there...Im a total noob who has made a website, and i would like to have an event calendar on it. My question is -

Where can i get a good free calendar?
and
How do i get it to work?(plz write as if im an idiot, cause ive tried like 1000 times now with different calendars, and no luck. I need to know, where shall i place the calendar in my webhotel and such.)

Hmm...if you're looking for a client-side calendar, this one is pretty nice.

Go to php.net. Download a manual and php. In less than a year you'll be writing your own. Forums such as this are great for help.

As programming languages go, php is easy to learn and, if you are thinking about a webby career, it would be a useful to have some server side skills.

If that's not for you there is lots of free stuff available on the web - someone beat me to the hotscripts link.
