It was already posted, but I am pretty hooked on the XTC radio broadcast. Alternatives for me would be DIGITALLY IMPORTED broadcast or queing up the close to 2k mp3's I have, which have everything in there, but consist mostly of trance/techno et al.

Normally, I don't listen to music while I'm coding. However, I sometimes do listen to classic.

Actually I make most my money as a sound technician at a radiostation. During the night shift, I spend a lot of the quiet hours coding.... so I have no choice but to listen to the corney 80's hits they play. Not my personal preference.

At home.. anything from Madredeus to 16 horsepower to rammstein to the gorillaz

Well a look a my winamp playlist would go like this:

311 - Grassroots
Everything but the Girl - Before Today
Del tha Funkee Homosapien - X-Files
Breaking Bengamin - Polyamorous
Kosheen - Catch
ZZ Top - Cheap Sunglasses
Dinosaur Jr - Feel the pain
Fey - Bailando

It gets all over the play at times...
Mostly music that does't disturb others in the veciniety, and It has to be played low. :|
