Just don't try to code while listening to DreamTheater - Images and words. You'll end up singing along and drumming the keyboard with your fingertips.
Right now I listen to Vanessa Carlton - Be Not Nobody all day and night long... Have done so since the middle of august. That is music with incredible quality. It actually made me open the wardrobe and get my electric and my acoustic steel stringed guitars out. I also had to spend three hours to get my lab-board build guitar amplifier working again. Ever since (august 2002) she has haunted me with beautiful tunes like Rinse and Sway, forcing me to play some add-on guitar solos every day.
She has not yet busted the record, set by Stryper - Against The Law some years ago. I was in school, travelling with bus for two hours every day and listening to that music with headphones all the time.
That tape never left that Sony freestyle for over a year!
That's addiction!

Currently I've got a mixture of Phish, Widespread Panic, Grateful Dead, O.A.R., and other "jam" bands going...
But, it depends on my mood. Sometimes it's Glenn Miller and other 40's favorites, other times it's Ministry, Skinny Puppy, and the like.
More often than not, though, it's jammy kind of stuff. NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER country...
