Hard House - Anything that's DJ'd by Andy Whitby or Lisa Lashes
I don't mind a bit of softer stuff like Hard Trance.
It works at 150bpm usually so it gets your brain going

Grunge. I love to listen Nirvana, placebo, the killers .... while working.

I would debate whether the Killers are grunge, but that's a thread for a different forum I suppose.
Lately I've been listening to Camera Obscura and The Pipettes. Great bands.

Haha this thread will never die... every time somebody posts I feel the need to drop in with the stuff I've listened to recently. Quite a broad mixture actually:
Prodigy (good old quality 90's uncategorizable music

),
Hot Chip (Awesome),
Salmonella Dub (Saw these live recently... hooked now)

I'm currently really into The View and Idlewild. d11 mentioned Hot Chip who I quite like at the moment too

Doesn't all that chatter that get distracting??
Personally, I listen to Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Snow Patrol, Gorillaz, Arcade Fire, Smashing Pumpkins... pretty much anything that isn't to distracting.
