i just like almost every style, depends on my mood, but vague electric music and hacker movies improve my needs to code

[Electronic/Ambient]
Add N to (x) (Yes, this is really a group :))
Aphex Twin
Dieselboy and other drum&base
Digitally Imported: House, NO Trance
Massive Attack
Some PsyTrance

[Rock]
Cradle Of Filth
Deftones
Soulfly
White Stripes

Guarantee i'm forgetting my favorites, just don't remember them now (/me have bad memory)

when i'm at home

linkin park, disturbed, incubus, inme and the rest

at uni i code to shouts of "ack you b****** you shot me" or similar when the freshers are playing UT. I then have to log on and beat them so badly they take their ball home and leave me in peace.

When I'm at the office I listen to the standard mix of rock that's on the radio... when I'm at home it's a big mix of rock, jazz, blues, hip hop, trance, techno, classical... it all depends how busy I am. ;)

Instrumental music, ambient and some soft trance, and almost everything else without lyrics and god damn pop-XXXtreme-bass or loud electric guitar.... oh, I'm would forgot, the only exception is RATM. :D

Maybe the above mix doesn't suit, but who cares :]

When i used to programme, i would often listen to Xavier Rudd or Harry Manx, nice blues.. Or if i was getting myself <span style='color:blue' title='I'm naughty, are you naughty?'>smurf</span> while programming, something like J Lee Hooker, or Jeff Lang.

For me, it's still the Cocteau Twins. Then some Cibo Mato, Bjork, and Orbital.

I listen to fast music. I don't care who it is... It calm me down. Being hyperactive, it helps me concentrate ;)
