MySQL Liscensing When??

Hey, I am just wondering if I should advise my client to purchase a MySQL liscence?

I am developing for them a template/ CMS for a state agency. They hope to eventually contract similar agencies in other states. Which is why I thought we might need a liscence, because it's kind of like we are selling a product based on MySQL (since I'm using it to hold content etc.).

Buutt.. For right now, we are hosting externally, so do I not have to worry about a liscense? We may in time bring it internal, but not yet.

Also, is it that much better to have the support? I mean, there are plenty of ways to get help using it despite the poor docs, right? I mean, look at this forum!

Any opinions/ ideas??

When you feel appropriate, I'd say. MySQL is double licensed, so you're not forced to buy a license.
