You published the link expressly so that people could complain. There has been at least one other incident (not on phpdn) where a referee has been deluged with abusive emails including death threats after their email address was published.
For all I know you do not intend to kill Mr Meier. However, mere spam is still a nuisance.
I don't want to make too big a deal about it. I'd just rather not see that on the forums.
